I left my home

I fled from a great disaster

My family torn

My wings so worn from flight

I made my way out west where the fruit trees lay

It was there I'd work, and there I'd stay

But this new world just keeps changing faster, a man made disaster

In the great unknown

The fruit trees, they did grow, in groves aplenty

Then one by one there came highways and buildings

Now is there work for all my sons and daughters?
