What the meaning is?

I had one too many last night

Now my head spins

Hoped I'd find guidance

At the bottom of my next drink

Another sip, my worries fade away

I know it isn't healthy

But at times we need that small escape

Balance is key, they say

But tryna find balance in itself, is a pain

So busy thinking 'bout how I should be living

That I forget to live, vice or no vice

We know life is guaranteed to end

So the questions I ask myself every day

What can I do in this short moment of space?

One human life is nothing in this grand domain

So insignificant it hurts to think it matters anyway

So how do we find meaning?

When life is to just the means to an end

I was 12 years old

When I started asking these questions

It puzzled me so much

I couldn't find the peace to go to sleep

And I'm kinda wondering still to this day

That's why I decided

Not to give a shit what they say

Cause now at leats I know

That life is just too short to care

It's fucking miracle that I am even here
