Not Very Long

I feel young

Not very long

I could fall down and I’d be done

But before I’m what I’ll become

I’ll take the slow and painless approach

To help me swallow the days as I get older

It’s a phase like a merry-go

Around this place I’m a miracle

And with my own eyes

I want to see them come

Far below

My favorite vision

And as I find the wonders of tomorrow

I’ll collect a pocketful of memories

And take them home
