Honey and butter on toast It's a Sunday and I forgot to get my groceries before the shops close And I'm drinking tea I prefer coffee And there is no milk left in the refrigerator I don't like to drink my coffee black And I don't leave my room As long as there's someone calling, yeah As long as there's something to do I spend my days in my head Reliving moments that I I attempt to forget Met up with a stranger from the internet on a Tuesday night After meeting in the hotel We felt like Grabbing a dinner, driving around I love showing the city to people who aren't From town I've never been to New York City I've never walked through Central Park You said you moved to China Town That's quite far away from where I live now And I don't leave my bed Let me get some rest I spend my days in my head Reliving moments that I I attempt to forget I spend my days in my zone I might be the happiest when I'm on my own
