I paint the world as it pleases me baby

And today I paint it bright

Oh so many possibilities waiting'

Sometimes it's hard to decide

I paint an island in the ocean

I rough it out from memory

And what's the point of all imagination

If you're not acting out your dreams

There's no border and no nation

There's no limit no frustration

For the first time in my life I'm free

So many ways and miracles waiting

And precious sounds I've never heard
