Alright, alright Settle down, settle down Yeah Yeah Oh yeah In these times I'm surprised I've let these things end in a mess I've bottled it up so much its infected my head But it was hard to write it down on a page With someone else holding the pen And now I'm left with no inhibitions, it's only myself to please There's only so many dicks you can suck Till your knees start to bleed And your jaw starts to lock as you mumble "Set me free!" It's like I was a child in a supermarket and Someone was holding me by the collar so I didn't get lost And I was stuck by the fruit and veg section screaming "Has anyone seen my dad? I don't know where he is!" And so for a while, it seemed like I was wandering around Tryna figure out what it all means like "Why are we here?" "What do I believe?" "Why did I hand over the power over to a Corporation that lost control of my dreams?", but Out of the blue, I got a text from Zac I told him my situation and that I can't relax and he said "I think you'd be surprised how much holding on Is holding you back!" Yeah It's holding you back Yeah It's holding you back from the things that you like It's holding you back so you can't see the light It's holding you back It's holding you back So, I was 16 with a head full of dreams And I was telling Danny it'll be me You'll see on that arena stage, there's people going insane And I'll try to get Ari's number, mate But you're twice her age And then came a couple of years where I was lost I was bumming around Reminiscing about the top of the pops saying "Hey! I made it once, I got to the top!"
