Winter crickets open doors

Heart-shaped threes and crinkled fours

Just remember, hold my hand

Double up our two-man band

Cattle the rain

This rain could soak up clovers

And the bees would not stop

The cattle would be collected

Driven to the kraal

And the birds will sing our song

On that lazy Sunday that makes way for Monday

And the trees will sway our way

Some will keep us warm when our clothes are worn

Take my thumbnails, pull them slowly to our world

Grab my hands and kiss me softly at my door
