Years ago I made decisions in my life I thought were wise

Then walked and lived and learned in that direction now I'm terrified

That because of what I thought I could do I misjudged my potential

But perhaps it's even more painful dwelling on the time that I've wasted

And it's hard to find the light in the darkness without you there

And hopelessness and apathy make it hard for me to care
