Before I realise I just passed through a reference to a memory of you

Something we did but now don't do

Somehow your heart skips a beat, just a beat or two

In time they say it fades away, all your colours turn to grey.

But that time is not today and I see red thinking of you

My heart is cursed inside a cage. Twisted like a fist of rage

Don't want to think it was a waste of my time, but I do

All I've got and all I knew is torn apart like me and you

Kicked in the heart out of the blue by a reference to a memory of you
