Madness

What on earth could someone do

To not shoot quick but not be overdue

Who can tell me the way to see through

This world of madness

And you know my mind's a mess

And so is yours or so I guess

Life is good but at times it feels like a test

Well I don't know if I can pass this

What I hear, what I see and what I feel

Couldn't tell if it's fake or if it's real

If you're out there and you know what these all mean

Help I feel like spinning though I'm standing still

I don't know if I'm alone in this

Does anybody else have thoughts like these

Is this special or is it part of being young

Or getting older

And you'd think someway somehow

I'd figure out the rules by now

The world is full of ways to turn around

Turn upside down and still surprise me
