I’m exiting the studio a busy day as usual

The weather outside is beautiful

Suitable enough to maybe walk a couple blocks

I put one foot in front the other and explore my neighborhood

So quiet, no cars rolling up and down the streets

And then I spot a little girl with tears running down her cheek

I asked what’s wrong

Cause she looked upset

It’s gonna be okay don’t you fret

Did you lose your pet?

Drop your ice cream?

Misplace your toys?

Have some bad dream?

I tried every trick I knew to bring a smile to her face

But the tears sped up as if they tried to run a race

I’m on the case, this is serious business

Whatever is miss, we gonna fix it

I’m always by your side

You don’t have to cry alone tonight

I’m always here right next to you

To give you my umbrella

Walk along together

Keep your face to the sun

You’ll never see the shadows

Remember you must pull backwards to launch an arrow

It’s forward motion on, the grind that we travel
