And there goes the monkey, out into the hallway and down the stairs

Mom is in hot pursuit, the monkey makes a bee line for the front door

But dad is there and the monkey turns around and heads back upstairs like a shot

Mom is on the monkey's heels as the monkey makes a left and a right

And another right, mom is losing ground as the monkey heads for an open window

And disappears out into the night
