When I look around the world I grieve

Over all the things I see

It wasn't clear on how to operate

But some how

I dodge death an all the operatives

I'm from New York

Where ambition Isn't optional

You dream big when you're

Raised amongst the opulence

I had regrets that I didn't earn a doctorate

That's why I put intelligence

In all these documents

Son you know the reason

I was occupied

I hope you look at every moment

Like a positive

I'm thinking positive

Like anything is possible

This is private property

Scars are just the occupants

Trials and tribulations

Thou have been forsaken

I got a date with destiny

That's our destination

The hours we been waiting

Made us grow to be impatient

A year we won't forget

2020 made a statement

Still in operation

Through constant innovation

But was it all for nothing

If we're all not liberated

Frustrated I been playing it chill

You say it's a cold world

Cause that's the way that it feel

So I hold it all inside

That's the way that we deal

But the pain is authentic

So I'm saying it real

The pandemic gave us something to feel

Quarantined with the demons

We weren't ready to kill

All I have to do is hear the song

Of the wind in the trees

And I feel a warmth come over me

I know I was meant to be

And when the time has come for me

To set my spirit free

I will soar above the raging sea
