I left home when i was young, headed out to chase the sun

A guitar was the only thing worth owning

Took a greyhound bus out west, loved the rocky mountains best

I couldn’t help it if I tried, it’s a feeling deep inside

I never know just where I’m going

As a tree leans to the sun, so I ramble so I run

I let go and stopped controllin

Life’s a funny game, we all win or lose the same
