Colours

I was held in mental shackles demons of a haunted past

Haunted by a happiness I shared with you but didn’t last

All the colours on the pictures on the painting fading fast

Now I see no colour as I’m looking through this broken glass

Broken promises they cut me deep, you see you made a mark

Torn apart truthfully so on this path I’ll embark

Broken hearts can they be repaired, scared to the hear the answer, Crystal lake Dancers showed me hope starts in the dark

Scared to believe again, make it make believe

Make my own world, make my own reality and breathe

Clean air no pollution so concluding I’ll conceive

Searching for a resolution with the web of words I weave

We should have grieved together, I was blind now I see

We turned on each other but now we have the key

We have the power to turn the tides for the family tree

And only then can we truly be free…..

Cause if we don't see the stars

How can we know where we are

When there’s no colours to see

How can we learn how to dream?

Separation from the light of the star

Without the light of the stars do we know who we are

Lost souls in the night lost our way

Deep down we knew we’d make it home one day

And there’s a glimmer of hope in the skies tonight

That we are family to the stars and the future is bright

Black and white watch it fade, let go off the pain

And you can see the world in colour again

Raindrops on this warrior I fight against hate

To make a change no it’s never too late

At hells gates I was knocking then you showed me what was truly my fate

To take control of my destiny, I know you relate

We are relations we are one regardless of the blood that runs through our veins and the blood stains and the pain and the mindstate

That we create losing the magic that we had since birth

A reconnection to the beauty of the power of earth,Is what we’re witnessing

And only when you open up can you live and you learn

And when we learn from our past that’s the key to change
