A day wrapped up inside my duvet,

You know,

You really wouldn’t have to tempt me,

No,

Sun settles on our bedsheets,

Golden hour catch our best bits

In position and we’re not moving all day,

Already worked our way through all my blu-rays,

So when we’re done testing out the bed springs,

Give me a minute I’ll log in my brothers Netflix

And we’ve never been bitter, still sweet,

our only innocence is on the label of my smoothie,

And I can’t sleep,

With you up

Weekend night-time drives,

Classics of our time,

Low lit, soundtracked, movie scenes,

We’re not hiding anything

‘Dam on a Sunday night,

Bike rides, space cake highs,

Decor, matching colour schemes,

I see you thinking about me

Counting down the hours,

Early April showers,

35 mill camera,

Retro pics and photo albums,

See your private story,

Topping my best friends list shortly,

Could you send me that picture I could do with a new lock screen

And I get low sometimes,

Filling up with coffee ’til we reach full time,

And you know I’d ask where we should go and eat tonight,

But you’ll only hit me with,

I don’t mind

Riding the same vibe,

Picking up in tempo but we keep in time,

Two souls aligned

Weekend night-time drives,

Classics of our time,

Low lit, soundtracked, movie scenes,

We’re not hiding anything

‘Dam on a Sunday night,

Bike rides, space cake highs,

Decor, matching colour schemes,

I see you thinking about me

Sometimes I wonder who we are,

we’re both stubborn and we won’t back down,

But when you see me tripping up,

You come through firmly plant my feet on the ground,

And now I see things looking up,

‘Cause you’re the comfort in my clouds,

This time around, now

Weekend night-time drives,

Classics of our time,

Low lit, soundtracked, movie scenes,

We’re not hiding anything

‘Dam on a Sunday night,

Bike rides, space cake highs,

Decor, matching colour schemes,

I see you thinking about me
