Well, he just became the shooter, shooting up the school you went to

We say the guns the problem, but I think that's too convenient

I think the bigger problem is just treating people decent

We see these mental issues, but it's almost never treated

It's funny how we care only when we watch the news

We blame the politicians so the blame isn't on you

It's crazy that we act like there's nothing we can do

When all that kid needed was a friend to help him through

But hiding these emotions, acting like we're not affected

The suicide rate is always staying at the rise
