ii. Glory Hour

And so you ask

"What can I do?"

If even the mighty, wealthy, and wise

Are compromised in the fight against the night

If even they have not the power

To defeat the darkness with light

My friend, the greatest thing that anyone can do

Is something that everyone can do

Light a candle, it's that simple

You take a candle of hope

And then you light it with the flame of faith

Have faith and believe in the hopeful idea

That the sun will rise

And when the sun arrives

All of our tears will be wiped from our eyes

And all of our fears will forever be found delegitimized

The battlegrounds of warring neighbors will be sanitized

By the waters of latter-day showers

Death will no longer have power

For it will be glory hour
