We hit the corner shop, we got no time to lose

Because I'm sick and tired of overpriced London booze

Some chewing gum and a pack of filters too

Let's hit the town It's time to let loose

What's your name? As he makes his move

Well it's dreadful chat and his dancing's hopeless too

I'd rather be sitting out with you

With a sunset view

Cold Mojitos on the beachfront

They say these things take time

Sugar sweet leaves me high on life

Then turns sour like lime

Always feels my day is wasted

When it gets to night

Lemme hop on a plane quick

And quit my nine to five

I need a change of scene cause lately I'm not me

And I miss the times when I felt free

My own space is what I need

Or a move to a new city

Adult life ain't all it's cracked up to be

My teenage years are a distant memory

At times I feel you're the best in me

Let's find the shade of a palm tree

Cold Mojitos on the beachfront

They say these things take time

Sugar sweet leaves me high on life

Then turns sour like lime

Always feels my day is wasted

When it gets to night

Lemme hop on a plane quick

And quit my nine to five

Cold Mojitos on the beachfront

They say these things take time

Sugar sweet leaves me high on life

Then turns sour like lime

Always feels my day is wasted

When it gets to night

Lemme hop on a plane quick

And quit my nine to five

Cold Mojitos on the beachfront

They say these things take time

Sugar sweet leaves me high on life

Then turns sour like lime

Always feels my day is wasted

When it gets to night

Lemme hop on a plane quick

And quit my nine to five
