If I had time

I'd let the morning sun rest

Gently on my face

But time's not on my side

It is life's rival that forces flowers to fade

If I could, each second, minute, hour, I'd lock away

How quickly children grow and dreams not chased are soon erased

Regrets are fears disguised as promises

I still would break

We all are born to die, so make sure you die empty

If you have time

Make time to let your heart feel pain

Don't run from necessary change

Don't be afraid to make mistakes

It's your right to feel alive

You will stumble through the darkness of this life

The tears that come after, lay your head each night

You see, I did my best with every test
