Starting university, it sounds so scary

But not to me at nineteen

Meeting new people

The thought of leaving friends behind

Turns out to be the best thing I did at the time

And it feels so good to be loved

I can say anything without the fear of being judged

And it feels so good to know I'm not the odd one out anymore

And now we're touring hometowns and these people are my best friends

Cleaning the glass you stole from the student bar

Sat in disbelief we've all made it this far

Have made up what turned out to be first year
