I stand, curious, in overdrive

The ocean, came here to depart

And I said, 'it's cold, so cold outside'

The ocean's breath, I called it pain

And you with every color, echo, still on mine

When you became the shadow, in the cold, ever colder

Gone, with every passing day

The waves arrive, ready to hide it

I lay in the bathtub and dropped my ear

It fell into the sewer and flowed in the waves
