Without a you, there is no bang And the fangs of nonexistence Sink their jagged points into my soul There are no stars without your birth And the earth is just an instance Of an aeon spinning far beyond control We may travel across space and time And never be so graced to find A meaning in the mayhem of our world But in this briefest hourglass I see our future and our past A fleeting wisp of love where comets swirled There is a light that comes from nothing Though we're born from random thunder Look underneath the chaos as it falls We are here, and that means something So when your heart is torn asunder We will wonder at the wonder of it all We will wonder at the wonder of it all If there's nothing, what are we?
