Sheep

Every morning

Surprised by sun stripes on my walls

I can't ignore them, they wake me up

I never fixed those shutter doors

I'm Tossing and turning

Not enough melatonin

To keep me floating

In an absent-minded notion

That I don't know how to reach

And so I hope for dreams that don't bleed too much

but they always come up (always mess up)

Never give up parasitic schemes

Another morning

It could be 3 it might be none

Should I be counting the hours gone

Excuse the sheep they're out having fun

Again im Tossing and turning

but the pills are not working

The light should be more dim

Or is it something from within

And so I hope

For the dreams that don't bleed too much

But they always come up (always mess up)

Never give up parasitic schemes

And so I give up, (I give up)

Once I hiccup (I hiccup)

And then stay for the whole play

The curtain rises (it rises)

Then I am stranded

On a sadly sunny day

And my applause now has no meaning

I never know what I was dreaming

Is it the one that I'm in

Maybe I will let them win some day

Again I'm tossing and turning
