Something is missing

Faded out

To slow to notice it

So I go replacing

Nothing fits

Hits it and passes through

No branches, without foundation

No safe ground to walk upon, so I float along

Feeling poison

From behind

Coming to comfort me

Can't hold close an excess

Know by now, I will just run it through

How far can, I stray away

Until the light fades and breaks the mend to begin again
