VERSE 1

If you believe, I think you could walk on water

Throw away your pride alongside all your dollars

Ye of little faith that ain’t good for your posture

I can’t catch a break could you throw a little softer

The homie OD’d on the way to his momma house

That should’ve been me when I was on my way out

Can’t stand a bunch of zealots and what comes out they mouth

Every saint got a past and every sinner gon shout

And even though I know his plans are better than mine

I tend to wrestle every chance that I feel so inclined

It’s matters of the heart, but not to be confused with

Changing who you are cuz that sh*t gon consume you

Excuse me if, I’m ungrateful

I just escaped through all the things that went and took you

And I don’t deserve this kind of grace

I’m breathing with the mistakes I made

Don’t be deceived I seen the hands of my father

Crying on his shoulder while I made an empty promise

Later in the evening I overdosed in my room

Foaming at the mouth and I’m just staring at my shoes

The truth is inconvenient, but a fallacy is a problem

Told plenty of lies, but I don’t care to comment

Seen temptation and shook her hand with a smile

Been sitting on the fence ever since and it’s been awhile

La vida es Fria, I seen too much to be quiet

We do it to ourselves and resort to our own violence

A jury of my peers wouldn’t understand it’s survival

It's easier said than done when you tryna break a cycle
