To what extent is a life worth living

When you hold no hope

Nothing to believe in

Only existing

Alive but not breathing

I am a waste of everything that I could be

Always aching to fade away

There's nothing here that makes me want to stay

I fear the end is seeping in

No light here left to lie in

Are my thoughts my own anymore

Or overtaken by grief of losing

Everything I adore

Hopeless; homesick

A spitting reflection of sunken depression

Forever living on the verge of tears

My anxiety is so severe

I'm afraid of everything

And my body is shaking endlessly

I harbour this absence of self compassion

That I fill with hate

Until I collapse

Into a state of disrepair

Alone again

Until the end

Alone again

All I ask

When I start acting up

Is just to be held

And told that I am enough
