Say it like a spell cast in rage cast in joy

How terrifying to dream out loud.

They’d just call me naïve or they’d call me selfish

But then tell me where should I put this?

It’s always building up

But what when it collapses still inside?

All the parts all the pieces

Scaffolding in piles

Will I rattle when I walk?

Will it drag my thighs?

I’m trundling, just a carry case

For all the bits inside.

What if this joy-wish spills out

To meet the joy and grief

The death and birth

Pressed in around the fire

Watching their endless blaze?
