Pushing past the pain

Every single day

This strain I cannot take

I know it has to change

Never given tools to cope

Hope is so unknown when there's no way out

I have to let this out

Living is hell so I cannot dwell

On what I can't control

Never succumb to all the pressure

Never show

Sympathy

For the oppressor

Forces in place to make you fail

Just another stat

My pride means more than that

Redefine what holds me back

The fight won't ever end

Anger and resentment drives my every move

Existence is persistence so I will find my way through the mud
