Life Giving Us Life

I see a temple where Jesus, The Word

Opened the scroll and The Word was read

I see the bread breaking the bread

On a hillside where thousands were fed

And the Prince of Peace speaking peace

To calm an angry sea

 

When He walkedup the hill to calvary

I see the way making a way

And when He cried, "It is finished," I hear the truth

Declaring the truth that all can be saved

And when He bowed His head (bowed His head), closed His eyes in death

And made the sacrifice

I see The Life giving us life

 

I see a woman there at the well

Who would drink from the well that would never run dry

And I see the blind man receiving his sight

Cause the Light of The World gave him light

And redeeming blood redeeming us

Oh, what amazing love

 

And when He walked up the hill to calvary

I see the way making a way

And when He cried, "It is finished," I hear the truth

Declaring the truth that all can be saved

And when He bowed His head (bowed His head), closed His eyes in death

And made the sacrifice

And though He knew no sin, He took our sin

To call the sinners, "friends"

 

And when He walked up the hill to calvary

I see the way making a way

And when He cried, "It is finished," I hear the truth
