I just had to reach out

On a day like this

I know I ain’t the first call on your list

Yeah I know how hard times are never off the clock

It’s a lot to shoulder when you’re everybody’s rock

Just checking in

To see how you’re holding up

Just checking in

We don’t do this quite enough

Yeah the worlds sure got a lot of problems

Heaven knows in a night we can’t solve em all but that’s not why I called

Just checking in

Want you to know I’ve got a bottle and an open door

So if you’re down in the dark end there’s a light on my porch

I’m just doing something I think a friend would do

You never really know what somebody’s going through

Just checking in

To see how you’re holding up

Just checking in

We don’t do this quite enough

Yeah the worlds sure got a lot of problems

Heaven knows in a night we can’t solve em all but that’s not why I called

Just checking in

Just checking in

To see how you’re holding up

Just checking in

We don’t do this quite enough

Yeah the worlds sure got a lot of problems

Heaven knows in a night we can’t solve em all

But that’s not why I called

Do you have time to talk?

Just checking in
