I was standing out the Muhammed Ali museum

Looking for a local hook-up to get me high

If there were peddlers down around 6th street I didn't see 'em

So I paid the price of admission and went inside

And then the hologram champ caught me with a right for his people

As the honorable Elijah Muhammed hung by his side

In the clenches the champ whispered, "Boy, you know we're all born equal"

I thought if you and I were born equal champ, I guess I been on a downhill slide

Well, I was looking for inspiration

Couldn't find nothing to get me high

Every time I hear the bell

I throw the towel in or take a dive

And your life and all of your work has been a waste of time
