One Remains

Drifting snowflake through the freezing air

But out here the flakes are stars

Winter stationed on a platform where

no one else would land at all

Outline of another far away

Cold mind, would somebody catch me?

Like a net would catch a falling star

Crystallizing

As I’m floating frozen in the sky

In pitch black space above the clouds

Wonder if any other day

I’d be the one to look out
