Old Hag

Grass reaches up to my knees

A pale type of green

It feels okay that the sunlight blinds me

There is no end to the horizon

Someone is all around me

I get a choice to wake up or to dream

I can't think of a good reason to want to leave

That makes me sad

Did you know at night I hear the children scream?

Try to help, but I can't get my point across

It's my sixth cup of coffee, will the next one wake me up?

Wonder if the next one will make the crying stop.
