Dance of the Pines

The wind, she blows and winds through the rows

Of dancing trees that sway as she breathes

You can hear a symphony

A cathedral filled with sound

The pines they play in harmony

As the creatures gather 'round

The branches are the violins

And the creaking trunks the horns

A cadenza from a howling wolf

This concerto being born

The wind, she blows down mountainsides and roads

Her icy chill is stirring the still

Then begins the symphony

It's a glorious sound

The forest sings in harmony

And the angels come down

Aurora borealis

They dance across the sky

In brilliant greens and blues above

The Creator magnified

The winds repose and all creation froze
