I’m living in a movie I think that I’ve seen before

Some kind of psychological thriller and horror

It’s so predictable, every scene is miserable

What a bore

It always starts with grief, I’m trying hard to change my ways

But then the voices start, stomach drops, heart will race

Forgot to change the reel again, burning through my final frame

What a waste

Maybe it’s all make believe and I can go on back to dreaming

Is it a crime that I wanna switch the genre I’ve been starring in

Give me a comedy, rom-com or fantasy

Honestly I wouldn’t care

Just don’t cast me somewhere in this nightmare
