The moon followed me home today

She so happily left behind her loyalties to the other seven billion or so people

To light up the deserted streets my feet follow

Every corner and alley, every bridge

She hung what feels just out of reach and promises safety

It feels like tonight's the first time we truly met

I think she's watching me right now, peeping through my blinds

While I write this in my tiny journal which contains all my thoughts and feelings

That I confess to her every time she's at her fullest

Creating the rising and the crashing of the waves

Inside all of our tiny beings
