The sound space envelopes

As it opens to the garden in your mind

It's been secret for so long

In a sign of shifting currents

A fractured heart radiating love

As the night falls on the ocean

And we walk along the shoreline

The breakers laughing gently at our feet

"The ocean is so calm here"

There's a line in the sand

It was drawn before we ever found this place

Now it turns into a light and drifts off in the night

In a song cutting lengthwise

Severing the body from the mind

And it's whispering your name

In a plowed field at nightfall

Conversing in a language obsolete

And the words are ringing clear

On a train heading westward

Plowing through the darkness under stars

Saw you standing on the platform

And we call to one another

Thundering across this empty plain

As I visualize your face

We dissolve back into space
