Days are flying by

One day you'll look back on these nights

As the good times

What a lie whilst I scribble these rhymes

And lie awake

Hoping that these lines can show me the life

I've always desired

I'm so fixated on where I'm supposed to be

Some things in life can't be controlled you see

Why do we all worry about things we can't change?

I get myself down

Yeah it's always self-inflicted

Bad habits

One of them is overthinking everything I do

Gotta take time for myself

Take the time and focus on my health

But I can't do that

Music's always I am

How am I meant to relax when it's always on my mind?

And when I reach these goals

Will I ever be satisfied?

Will I ever take the time?
