What a curious stain that was left on my floor

I stayed inside all day and it wasn't there before

When I look at the surface, the picture remains

As it's looking back at me

I've been pulling the drawers everywhere around

Searching for something that would not want to be found

Seems like nothing here has changed, if not for the sky

The stain is getting so bright

Stayed inside all day

Figured out too late

Then I opened the door, only to find out

For years someone has watered

The last edelweiss left in the world
