They all like to talk about me, everybody really know me

Do they know that when you’re in this, it get real lonely?

Putting off parties, it’s been months since I have seen my homies

Locked away myself & lost the key, who’s escaping? Not me

Another day is miles away & I can’t let it stay

Can’t be afraid of the unknown, when it’s gazing at your face

Liking it or not, the storm is coming gotta brace

I’ve felt much worse before, never left a sour taste

So many things slotting in place, do I take all it with grace?

In a race, I pass myself the torch coz I’m not tryna waste

The moment that’s presented, can’t leave my mind defected

The only fear I have is never being what I expected

Ain’t about to cap & say ‘My life is in the trenches’

Does that invalidate my thoughts with life & all my questions?

Meditate & ask myself, more like interrogation

Always a bumpy path, filled with curves & corrugation

Lofty aspirations of being an inspiration

Who really gonna say they got it figured out?

Trust me I’m doing good, but the end ain’t about

Tell me what you gotta say, tell me what’s the news today?

Maybe you've got to put that all way out

So it don’t hit closer to home

Digging a hole so deep, can’t find a way out

You know what I’m about? But I got my doubts

I’d lay a pretty penny on it

Cannot contain, their disdain, can’t see themselves with honesty
