Thought that I wanted to live in a mansion

All of a sudden I got to expansion

Found that desire for all the material things in the world I would have to abandon

Otherwise happiness based on conditions

Even with everything come to fruition

Satisfaction only last for a moment but then I be going right back to the mission

Tryna get more but I'm stuck in the cycles

Chasing the bag and the job and the titles

Feel like there's gotta be more to the life that I'm living so I started reading the Bible

It's saying the kingdom of god is within you

But I don't know to continue

When all of the people around me would rather escape to the clubs and the venues

Think my paradigm is shifting

Realigned the vision

Spreading peace and love became the mission

Wishing

My mind would not be giving

Into all the resisting

Focus on my breath and then I listen, listen

When I let go I think that something stepping in

Hoping that it be infinite intelligence

Can't really tell but it don't really matter I'm looking for peace I ain't looking for evidence

I got some questions I'm tryna implore

Why does the mind always seem to want more

How can I know who I am at my core

When the noise in my head is so hard to ignore

The only solution I found is detachment

From all the thoughts that are causing harassment

Breaking the unity into the fragments

Taking communities into entrapment

Facing the scorn had to go and transform now I'm feeling I'm reborn like a a zombie

Took out the thorn and I challenged the norm now I'm nonreactive like I'm Gandhi

During hard times there is always a lesson

That can be learned for your growth and progression

But you could also fall back to regression

Depending on your perspective and discretion

I had to go switch up my mindset

Reshaped it from a prime threat

To something helping me reach my potential I'm starting to think I could shine yet

The mind keep chattering all the mentation

Keep my focus scattering, need meditation

Wanting the presence the best medication

Calming my essence the blessed of the nation

Recognizing all the wisdom

When the meaning of all of the bars hit them

They are no longer serving the system

And they stronger not turning to victims

Way too afraid of old age and the silence

To ever transcend and be one with infinity

Pick up the pen and express your divinity

Back in the day I complained 'bout the weather

But how could that possibly make my life better

Don't really answer 'cause that was rhetorical

Manifest all of my dreams like the oracle

Most of y'all are not aware of the fact that your mind just be running on programs

That your subconscious soaked up as a child, you want the truth well here you go man

If you wanna take back control over your mind, you gotta go rewrite your story

Any limiting belief you can find will get in the way of the glory

If you wanna be winning right from the beginning you gotta keep swimming like Dory

Replace all the doubt with the faith that's about to go take over all of the worries

And once you get rid of your energy blockages

Nothing will stop you from seeing the flawlessness

All of the love and the peace and the confidence

Always within and locked in by your consciousness
