Once set foot on lands of green that once we knew

The dreams that fell apart

All them vows - we worked so hard - that not came thru

We’re lost and gone before we knew

Empty isles - those dreary miles

Dreams were lost to another casket

Way too youngto go

Now ten winters passing - seems like everlasting

the promise left without a notice

If we were stronger - but we're no longer here

We leave the greens that we hold dear

No more toast - just empty glasses

Celebrations - neigh

These years we're reeling down - The lands of green turned brown

All hopes were crushed and still lies bleeding

All the dreams we're chasing - A promise lost we're facing

Go slowly down that river

Once this grace amazing - a silent crowd is facing

Old vanity is hanging from a tree

All the children will believe it when they see

The years are still forgiving
