Sometimes I wonder what is wrong with me

I should know better

That nothing ever seems to change

Except the weather

I remember when it used to snow in December

And now we’re tethered to our phones for forever

Might just be the mood I’m in

But cue those violins

If nothing’s happening to me

Then why am I so tired?

Consuming constant tragedy

Leaves much to be desired.

I wrote down my hopes but now they’re torn and tattered

Stuck inside a loop where nothing seems to matter.

Might just be the way I feel,
