Man was the center point of his attraction

The entity designed for worship

The one who was created just as He is

But at the call of serpent

Pleasure that spoke of the unspoken desires

That laid in the bosom of man

Crawled off the altar

Like his soon to be master Satan

Adam left the altar

But you see

If Adam had left alone

The title of this story

Would have been called

A Tale of an Unlucky Man

But with Adam left Eve

And the whole of creation

Cain, Abel, Noah, Moses

You and I

Were born off the altar

Without a choice to choose

Which side we stand

For through one man

Sin crept into the world

And death by sin

Death to all men

For that, all men are sinned

The title of this story

Is The Tale of Unlucky Generations

But just like all of Jesus' story

There is always a deeper meaning

And just like this

But before I go deeper

I hear a new sound

A sound that sounds different

Different from the last Adam

This is the sound of Jesus

The sound of surrender

The sound of giving all His will to the Father

But just like in the beginning

Man, you and I have a choice to make

To stay or to leave

To do the Father's will or to do ours

But I, we are that generation

One who has laid down her life at the altar

Who has made God the center point of her existence

It is my breath, it is not just a mantra

But it is my truth

But it is my reality

Today

You and I have this choice to make

Whether we be like Adam who crawled off the altar
