The Healing

I drift from place to place

Won't slow down

Can't wait till I find myself

As I hide my grace

I'm afraid of losing

Myself to this hollow space

I can't escape myself

When the walls close in

I can't reach for help

As I lay here waiting

afraid of failing

Don't wanna let go

Or give up this fight

When will I find a time

Where I don't need to run and hide

And dream of a life

Of things that I could be

Try to close my eyes and breathe

will the gravity pull me or set me free

When the darkness fades

I can feel the ground

and lost all the noise

I can make a sound

Start to find my healing

Stop the bleeding

Falling further

Till our worlds collide

Embracing life like I'm out of time

Living close to the other side

I feel our hearts are beating

I Hold on to what I believe in

I'm ready to go

Ready to face what I don't know
