Pharisee (Poem)

I feel like a hypocrite

So far beneath my own critiques

Entombed I am in secrecy

Such that I can barely breathe

I've made my home among the righteous

My heart of stone has found a seat

In sepulchres of the highest

The holiest society

Veil of bones it hears no thunder

The hills of corpses turn to their cheeks

The voice of God resounds in longing

He lost us to the law he keeps
