Raindrops

Raindrops are hitting the roof

Comforting emptiness

Years after years in this room

Solitude emperess

Windows darkened by dust

Or fireworks from the past

I try to get up and leave

But voices keep whispering

Don’t be a fool

It’s better you fade away

Waiting for life to begin

To receive the answers I need

I’m calling my spirits to guide me

Before I’m back

Down in the deep

I’m telling them all that I’m fine

That I’m done drifting

I’m finally ready to shine

But voices keep whispering

Don’t be a fool

It’s better you fade away

Waiting for life to begin

To receive the answers I need

I’m calling my spirits to guide me

Before I’m back

Down in the deep

I’m waiting

I’m calling

I’m inviting the light I’ve seen as I’ve been waiting

Raindrops are hitting the roof
