Summer of two thousand eight

We didn’t drink malt liquor cause we liked the taste

Shot gunnin two eleven every Saturday

Couldn’t wait for twenty one

Back when we were way to fast

I can’t believe we ever even used to act like that

It’s hard to think almost 20 years have passed

Since we were that young

We were rich on spending time

That’s all we could afford to buy

broke but we could always find

A couple bucks to get drunk

Sure I got a little older if you ask my age

Might go to bed early and the bills are paid
