Sadness comes Like tears fall from your eyes Like an unwanted goodbye Like a long, hard rain Sadness comes Sadness goes Like the spring sun melts the snow Like a gentle breeze that blows Like a scar that slowly fades Sadness goes So it's okay Sometimes we just have to cry But if we stay sad forever All our days will pass us by Sadness comes But just like the seasons change And how night turns back into day Sadness comes And then it goes away
